The Sea Robin is a magnificent fish and worthy of a spot in Bizarre post. We were about 8-10 miles out to sea and in approximately 100ft of water when we caught this beautifully colored sea creature. The deckhand told us that he had only seen five or so in his many years of working the gulf coast. This somewhat rare fish not only has wings, but in the photo below he reveals his tiny legs that allow him to creep along the bottom for food.
